Its style is feted by many many guide books and recognised by the award of excellent ratings, is essentially English but influenced by flavours from around the world. It is complemented by an extensive wine cellar where, among the more familiar labels, adventurous palates will discover vintages from distant corners of the new and old worlds, on a list which has won Johansens Wine list of the year and has been a regular finalist in the AA Wine list competition. The bedrooms in the main building, whilst not large, are individually designed with a country feel, and all those at the front have breathtaking views.
