The veranda takes in the beach below and the Gulf of Alghero, the ancient town, which still keeps the trace of centuries of Catalan domination in the buildings, the language and the cookery, although founded by the Genoese in the 11th century. The wide and well-lighted lounges have big glass walls, which allow to keep on enjoying the surrounding sight, and they are furnished in a harmonious combination of styles. The TV-room and the reading-room are a frame to the big, bright and inviting hall, which winds along the American bar. In the beach bar you can sip a drink in the fresh shade of a reed thicket or take delight in the splendid view over the bay while the chef prepares your favorite dish.
